On Tuesday we were given the brief for our final project.
We have been commissioned to create a 2 minute 3D animation
revolving round the biological process of a Cell Cycle, while keeping in mind
what type of audience we have in mind, and how to present our information to
said audiences.
Our subject revolves around “The structure of a prokaryotic
and eukaryotic cell” we have been given a range of subject matter to choose
from the are:
The structure of a prokaryotic and eukaryotic cell
The structure of a eukaryotic cell
The structure of a prokaryotic cell
The cycle of a prokaryotic and eukaryotic cell
The cycle of a eukaryotic cell
The cycle of a prokaryotic cell
The Key purpose of this animation is to be informational, to
present the subject to the audience in a way that is fun and engaging. The age
group we are aiming to attract ranges from 14 to 18 year olds, and possibly
students from the Stood Academy.
I think the key thing that will make my animation is going
to be whatever art style I chose to use for the animation. I have already had
some ideas of style that revolves around Takashi Murakami’s “Superflat” art
style.
I am looking at doing either the cycle of a prokaryotic or
eukaryotic cell, or quite possibly both. As I feel the journey would make for
an interesting voyage through a unique environment and inner space.
